No Husband Left Behind
HIM & HER — Together (on the Same Page)

Celebrating Him AND Her
Have you ever wondered, is the man or the woman “better” at most things? Do you think the “husband” or the “wife” works harder or is more productive? Or, maybe they are both at their best when working together? Does a certain “couple” come to mind if we speak about marital “success” or “failure”?
[Him]
The husband, or “man of the home”, is traditionally known as the “bread winner”, quite often working outside of the home and family unit. He will generally work either for himself or someone else, interested in bringing home income to keep the bills paid.
His feelings will be strong when it comes to providing for his wife and family. Making certain there is enough food to eat, clothes on each of their backs, and other resources for survival will often be top priority. Having sufficiency is important.
As the “knight”, the husband will focus his physical strength to lifting and moving objects, as necessary. He should also feel the need to utilize his muscles for protecting his wife. She really is priceless and should be kept safe.
[Her]
The wife, or “woman of the home”, is traditionally known as the “homemaker”, usually working inside of the home and family unit. Though many women in the developed world enjoy also working outside the home, she is still usually considered the most responsible for caring for the needs “at home”.
Her feelings will be strong in providing the love and nurturing for her husband and children. Strong supportive efforts are made for the children’s successful development. Making certain their schoolwork is completed is often a strong priority.
As the “damsel”, the wife may appear to be waiting to be rescued. However, she if often utilizing her strong mental energy and ability to multi-task while preparing and then completing any challenges that come.
[Both]
Within marriage, there is a far greater and stronger home and family unit. Especially within the Christian faith, the husband and wife (together) have such an incredible possibility for “supportive” success. Him “and” her working together to accomplish great things for the Glory of God is the best possible solution.
Both the husband and the wife provide the other with that missing or weaker element. Whatever he needs, she provides (and vice versa). As these two will be exposed to hard times, having someone to encourage and help (each other) becomes so critical. They should be more likely to come out stronger, as the result of their loving and caring life partner.
As Christians, these two love birds should also be prayer partners. He and she realize the completion within their own hearts. Living by faith, they both learn to rely on their Heavenly Father for all provisions. These two become devoted for life, never wanting to be apart. This couple will serve as an example for their community, and even for the world. May our Awesome God bring out the best within your marriage.
From one who forever remains…
