[Better Time Challenge – Week 5]
Greetings,
Last week, we focused on “Learning”. Did you identify one area for significant improvement? Maybe identified one or two people doing better than you. Any new thoughts on where to begin?
This week, we transition to “Celebrate”. As we wrap up the “Better Time Challenge”, consider developing a routine which includes the art of celebrating what our Creator has given you.
Step 1: Celebrate every aspect of your life. All pieces of the whole.
Step 2: Hold tight the people you care about most. Especially those who have loved and supported you.
Step 3: Embrace even your challenges and opportunities. The good and the not-so-good.
And now let us consider a few possibilities for integrating all three.
Example 1. When considering different aspects of your life, what comes to mind? Likely your physical health and well-being. Probably even your spiritual life. Maybe even the most peaceful room at home. Or, where you enjoy your favorite hobby.
Example 2. As you think about the people you care about the most, I am willing to bet your family and/or close friends are at the top. Maybe even a trustworthy neighbor, watching the property when you are away from home. Possibly even a colleague that has covered for you in the past. Or even a church member who offers a smile and some encouragement.
Example 3. This one may take a little more of a stretch, but your challenges and opportunities have helped to shape you. Those difficult times and hurtles you had to learn to get beyond. Even the setbacks and disappointments have given you some perspective.
In conclusion, I want to thank you for investing your time into this five-week series. We are now crossing the finish line together. And never forget my friend … Today is YOUR day. Now is YOUR time! Continue living your life focusing on what is “most” important (to you)! Especially as the Spirit of God leads you.
