[Better Time Challenge – Week 4]
Greetings,
Last week, we focused on “Priorities”. Did you identify “who” and “what” is most important to you? How about schedule “when” and “where” you would focus your attention and spend some quality time?
This week, we transition to “Learning”. Is there something in your life that seems missing or out of place? Perhaps someone could help you with overcoming your greatest area of frustration…
Step 1: Identify one area where you would like significant improvement.
Step 2: Surround yourself with people doing better in that area.
Step 3: Ask questions to learn where to focus your energy.
And now let us consider a few possible ways these steps can be implemented.
Example 1: Maybe within your finances, you desire to get out of debt. You could identify a course and community to help. Perhaps your first question should be about the cost (investment).
Example 2: If you are wanting improvement to your physical health, consider doing more fitness. Maybe a coach to assist you with a workout plan. Your first question after cost will likely be to learn a few starter exercises.
Example 3: Perhaps you are most interested in your relationship with your spouse. You recall meeting an older couple at church recently. Consider inviting them to join you for lunch to learn how they have survived over fifty years of marriage.
Hopefully these three examples have given you some ideas for a starting point with taking action on your desired area for learning and improvement.
