HIM & HER — Together (on the Same Page)

[Tip]

Complement Each Other

Whether you have ever noticed or not, “one man and one woman” become an incredible partnership in tackling any challenge which may surface along the way.  Your desire should be to become “your very best” each and every day, while helping to bring out the best in your other half.

Words:

When was the last time you told your adoring bride something which caused her to smile, natural and beautiful?  Your words can be very powerful, both helpful and harmful.  So, choose to say something nice to your adoring bride, preferably what you “enjoy most” about her.

Both of you “together” are supposed to improve each other, while enhancing and enriching the lives of each other.  Try not to allow this to incorporate any extra stress in to your life.  Naturally your love for each other (under our Awesome God’s plan for your marriage) will bring about a better life for you and for her … far better than if both of you remained “alone”.

Deeds:

In addition to saying positive and helpful things to your wife, consider what things you can do to help bring out her very best.  Remember how excited you were when she accepted your proposal for marriage, and you were so ready to say “I do”?  Now is the best time in your relationship to show her how much you love her and are crazy about her and want the very best for her.  How have you “demonstrated” your love for her lately?

Your dear wife and you “together” complete one another in marriage.  Perhaps we could even go further to say that the two of you form a “perfect” alliance under the direction of God’s Holy Spirit.  There is nothing which can stop either of you from accomplishing the great tasks you were born to do, together in holy matrimony.

Life:

My wife (Edith) and I have been married for more than two decades.  I would love to be able to tell you every day was “awesome” (with no problems or challenges).  Honestly, that is just not how this thing works.  You and your loving bride are going to have “ups and down” which ultimately will create two stronger people.  I want you to realize that marriage should become so good you never can imagine being without each other.  Both of you grow stronger with and because of your decision to be “life partners”.

As you are thinking about what you can say or do today to “complement” your beautiful wife, consider that your Creator has designed both of you (from scratch) to be “perfect” and “complete” together.  Trust our Heavenly Father, as He always knows what is best.  Both of you can give of yourselves to the other, offering unconditional love and support.  All you need to do right now is to acknowledge and enjoy your bride, while living every single day to bring out her very best attributes, for the Glory of God.

From one who forever remains…

“Under the Shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91:1),
